Watch NatWest’s recent webinar on ‘The new trade paradigm for corporates post-Brexit’. Visit the stand for more details.

A change in mindset is required for corporates who do business across the UK, EU and beyond.

While the EU Brexit deal has now been ratified, one thing is becoming clearer: equivalence in doing business across the region, and for the provision of financial services to support this, is unlikely. Coupled with the desire to recover strongly from the pandemic, this will require a change in mindset for corporates who do business across the UK, EU and beyond.

  • What are the key considerations for corporates, and what practical steps can treasurers take now to adjust?
  • How will the banking market change and, specifically, what changes to how trade gets financed might we see?
  • What are the opportunities that may present from further international trade agreements?

Join experts from NatWest and a multinational corporate to hear how you can prepare for the changes yet to come.

LIBOR & Lunch: What’s the plan? How to prepare for when LIBOR is no longer available

This is an invitation-only, roundtable event hosted by Refinitiv and Deutsche Bank. To enquire about participation, please contact Luigi.Nurra@refinitiv.com.

Jacob Rank-Broadley, Head of LIBOR Transition at Refinitiv, and Deutsche Bank’s IBOR Transition Director for Corporate Banking, David McNally, will discuss this central topic: “What’s the plan? How to prepare for when LIBOR is no longer available” over a virtual lunch.

LIBOR is widely adopted in a wide range of cash and derivative products and is deeply embedded all manner of systems and processes. The transition to risk-free reference rates is complex and time-sensitive. You will need to identify the most suitable rates for the large pool of existing products and plan how to handle new contracts. With a many different rates available for different markets there are complex decisions to be made.
